At Waffle House, if the staff see you fighting in the parking lot, they come out and yell at you to “take it inside”.
Inside would be even better. You could throw plates, squirt syrup bottles, and if you get too close to the customers/staff they could grab/trip you
There was a fan campaign asking the director of Tekken 8 to add it as a stage. After being explained why Waffle House is such a good location, he said it’d be difficult to get the rights to use their image for the game.

A whole fighting game of regular people fighting at regular street locations might be pretty good. We could call it Street Fighter… no, wait
Over here that would be gas stations, and the fighters are middle aged guys with a beer belly

Also, it’d be cooler as a beat-'em-up than a fighter.
I haven’t messed with MUGEN (which I am fairly confident that this post is a screenshot of) in a long time, but adding a background like this is one of the easiest things to do, and I bet it is still out there.
