Yeah the price for rent should be the amortized cost of upkeep/renovation + some salary to the landlord that is reasonable for the actually work done (which is usually very little).
It should never be enough to pay back a loan the landlord took out to buy the property in the first place.

My 10yo gaming PC is probably “faster” to boot because it is set up to auto logon without password promt so it boots straight to desktop without any interruptions while my Linux laptop has pre-boot-authentication and then normal login. But between these two password promts is basically no time at all

Upgrade -> update two days ago and then again today will leave me with exactly the same packages as it would if I ran it correctly the first time and then not at all today. Just the state of two days ago.
No it will update and once that is done it will shut down. But the update includes a restart so it will restart and then require you to type your password so it can finish the update, after which it will shut down.
I use apt in scripts and docker files. I don’t even know what apt-get is supposed to do better there?
Absolutely love sublime. Im not entirely sure but if I remember correctly they are perfectly fine with you using it for free as along as you don’t use it commercially. I used it for free during university and then at work I just asked if they will buy me a personal license since I am much faster with sublime than without and had all my keybinds and python scrips for automation.
