How about we just say no to the idea of beating kids

If your kid comes home from school saying another kid beat them up ofc you’d be horrified yet some parents are okay with hitting their own kids and it makes no sense

The reason people are making these types of posts is because he was a blatant racist (source) who said that little kids being killed in school shootings is “worth it” (source) ridiculed disabled people in his circles (source) and said that children should witness public executions (source)

Yes he was murdered but not all murder victims are innocent saints either

I hate how some are trying to spin this as “he was killed just for having different opinions” like no, he didn’t just have “different opinions” that’s grossly oversimplifying things, he advocated for the genocide in Gaza, said kids being shot in school is “worth it” because “god given rights” (which version of the Bible had assault rifles in it?) ridiculed disabled people in his circles, and said if his 9 year old daughter got raped he wouldn’t allow her to have an abortion

All while in a position of authority and power with influence over a significant portion of people. How anyone can sympathise for him I don’t know

100% this. calling it a “looming collapse” is downplaying things. the photos I’ve seen are nothing short of post apocalyptic. people are still trying to survive amid the rubble. once you reach a certain point of loss of infrastructure the chances of recovery are poor. and this is a place where half the population are children, nontheless, which makes it even worse. so sick of people including the media downplaying a genocide
