Won’t be for long.

Yup. Look at the Palace of the People in Romania. Buildings are expensive to demolish properly, expensive to put up, so it’s easier to just leave them up if they are or can be made to fit a purpose.

They weren’t making bombs, apparently they manufactured explosive filler for 155mm artillery shells.

“Whitewashed tombs” comes to mind.
They might’ve had one (or several) bad experiences and this is a trauma response, but even in that case, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say “yeah sure they’ll pay their own way, I just feel safer if we have a second pair of eyes I trust in the restaurant/cafe/etc with us”. Like, you don’t gotta be at the table, but I kinda get it for the first date or two being “hey I trust this person, mind if they tag along and grab a drink at the bar to be my watchman or whatever”.

No no, the nuclear-armed Gundam doesn’t come until after the war with Zeon.

If you watch something like the Charlie Kirk service, sometimes he can’t even string a complete sentence together without losing his train of thought, or at least forgetting the words he wants to use. He sounds like my granddad before he died - he’ll talk coherently for a minute or two, but if he has to talk for more than 2 or 3 minutes at a stretch, he starts falling apart and can’t string words or concepts together.
No, it was because of shoddy wiring causing a fire inside the capsule in an area that couldn’t be accessed easily from the inside or extinguished from the outside. The egress sequence was also very time consuming (somewhere like 90 seconds). Apollo I also was just a training module, it never got launched.

Soup kitchens and food banks are not usually looking for more food, but they’re ALWAYS short on hands. Food Not Bombs is also a good one if there’s a local chapter in your area. There are often tenant’s rights orgs out there that can use time, money, or expertise in legal matters (sometimes also just handyman skills).

Oh this was set up well before all that. UFC and Trump inked this deal back in, like, April as I remember.

This is their Blutfahne, their Blood Flag. It’s mythmaking - you just have to get people outraged enough and they’ll believe pretty much anything they’re presented with. I truly believe they had all this in the tank for when Trump keeled over (actually I think they were drawing this up before he nearly bought it in Butler PA), but martyrdom is a POWERFUL force, especially in a critical mass of people who are primed for martyr culture in the way the largely-white-supremacist-flavored American Evangelical communities are. The GOP is pissed that nobody successfully took a shot at Reagan, either Bush, or Trump I, so now they’re latching on in an attempt to get SOME gas on the fire before it burns out.

30-06 round like that, at double or triple that distance, will knock a full grown deer off its feet from the energy and put a hole the size of a fist in it. If it’s a hollow point round, double that exit wound size.
Usually you’d use a round of that caliber to hunt moose or bears. Many deer hunters think it’s overkill.
Bullets interacting with human tissue DO have a tendency to get weird, but the forces involved here simply do not add up as presented.
That doesn’t sound very shareholder-minded of you. /s

This would be Hel, which is sort of like “you weren’t terrible but you weren’t awesome”, although you also have Náströnd, which is a place within Hel reserved for murderers, adulterers, and those who break oaths.

Sounds like it was a metal towing cable, like from a winch? I could definitely see that taking a head off easier than a sturdy rope.
That being said, South America in general has contended with CIA interference for decades. It’s not unreasonable to think they’ve grown wise to their playbook.
