Chester Zoo, which was selling tickets to see lions and tigers, says the mistake was a computer error.

Oh it ruffiles my feathers when they blame the computer. It was funny and hardly important but, no, it wasn’t a “computer error”, you just had the website auto generat different tickets with the pattern of "Child "+ ticketName; it a human error.

The UK was also ground zero for epstein’s marks. Their ruling class are either pederasts or covering for them.

This seems like an appropriate way to deal with Andrew: stick him in an enclosure and let kids pelt him with rotten produce.

Again, this isn’t really British vernacular. Thanks, news written by interns/AI!

“child predators”. This story seems written for yank engagement (you can see there’s a lot in the comments here by all the “this administration”s).

We’d be aware of the US usage and maybe make a joke about it but it’s not some big “gotcha” moment.

More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.

Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think “reputable news source” needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
