    love how people who willingly put all of their life on the internet for everyone to see, “I have nothing to hide”, dont care about privacy for themselves or the people in their life are so concerned about shoulder surfers. LIKE LITERALLY JUST LOOK BEHIND YOU FOR FUCK SAKE

      Im pretty sure my friend had a screen protector capable of this more than a decade ago, but I am curious how they’re able to implement this in software rather than some physical method.

          I’d hope it’s more that that because this wouldn’t give you any “privacy” as someone next to you could read it if you were actively using the device. The old screen protectors had little ridges that blocked the light from escaping to the side so you could only see it straight on.

        Maybe its similar to amd where it uses the camera to see where your eye is looking and only display that area?
