Control Panel still exists. It’s one of the several windows that you use to configure the computer. The settings app still hasn’t implemented everything from control panel, so you have to jump back into it occasionally.

I think Cosmic will be the best compromise once it finally releases. Having the ability to swap between tiling and floating quickly and per workspace gives you the best of both worlds.

With Microsoft, that code could have been written by AI too.

AUR might not be as big as you think. It would wouldn’t work for offline tho since many AUR packages pull archives from websites during the build process.

I wouldn’t pick surfshark. Mullvad or Proton are probably the safest.
