AUR might not be as big as you think. It would wouldn’t work for offline tho since many AUR packages pull archives from websites during the build process.


I wouldn’t pick surfshark. Mullvad or Proton are probably the safest.
Control Panel still exists. It’s one of the several windows that you use to configure the computer. The settings app still hasn’t implemented everything from control panel, so you have to jump back into it occasionally.
