What I don’t understand is what the Pis are doing at the moment to get hot as they say that they don’t have any clients to do any work yet? So presumably they must be doing aimless processing to get hot at the moment.
You would’ve thought that it could be made more efficient by centralising these into hubs and piping the waste heat in the community as an array of Raspberry Pis doesn’t sound great.
What would happen if they run out of things to process or, the inverse, have too much demand for processing and no demand for heat in the summer?

It looks like they also installed a solar and battery array too so some of the electricity will be coming from there. I can imagine it will be getting more expensive getting into winter with the short days though.

This is mannycalavera. They’re deadly serious.

You are probably partly correct and it is being exasperated by the media. But you also don’t often see public spats between the two major leaders of the party. The only other instance I could think of is Farage and Lowe, but I can’t really say they are a serious party.

Great win for Plaid considering that they were trailing Reform in the polls.
Lovely to see the rejection of right wing populism. If a result like this is to be replicated in May, Reform will still win big, but left/progressive parties should have majority. Reform is really eating into the vote share of their only real possible alliance.

It looks like they are posting on Mastodon and by tagging this community and a bit of federation magic, it gets reposted here.
I am not a Mastodon user but I can’t imagine they will have the sub rules, or be able to provide Lemmy-specific formatting on a microblogging UI.

Well at least the Greens are polling relatively high. Hope that trend grows now with new leader + possible collapse of Corbyn/Sultana.

I agree that Ed is a very competent and credible leader fronting possibly the most professional parties in Westminster (despite the stunts and gaffs). However I feel like you are parroting smears on Polanski and to and extent Corbyn.
The hypnosis breasts incident was instigated by a Sun journalist and repeated every time he reaches any headlines by the right wing press. For a story that was largely fabricated.
The Corbyn party I feel you have more of a point as they seem quite unorganised and split (and they have so much overlap with Green that there isn’t all that much point). But didn’t they cut association with the guy questioning trans rights?
Just to add as well, there are other leftist options in the country who are doing quite well and currently seem pretty competent, though they are not English.
So the loophole will be to add tiny internal combustion engines to electric cars to get half price. I wonder whether I could start a specialist conversion business…
