Thanks for the hint. Long ago I also used syncthing. At that time it not fit my needs. But in this case it may is a possibility.
Any best practises for excluding files in Home for syncing like .cache ?
As far syncthing does not come with a vfs.

How long ago was your test? I hope there is some development on these concepts. I like the idea of homed.

All family member I support and provide with services use a Laptop. They are connected over wireguard. Solutions that depends on Network connections will not work.

Will test it as soon as possible. Does someon know how compartible it is with a qemu VM ? I need some GPU abilities like Vulkan there.

A friend told me he filled his google drive with a lot of small and random data in a cryptomator container. But he was not able to fill the google calendar and contacts with random data.
His Idea was, that after deleting there is a possibility that google only backup the last snapshot of his data and throw away the older backups. But only empty the account would not work.
Seems a legit idea, but what an effort 😮. There seem no tool that would do that for you.

👏👏👏

Never heard about that. I will look into that. Thanks!

Not compromised. But my key is around 20 years old. I’m a family admin and support my family since then with Linux and some selfhostung services.
Meanwhile I need an identity provider or something else and in any case ssh feels like a more of a pain to manage.
