I’m on fedora at the moment so I’m a few months back but it still lacks some native apps and could really use some extensions system but I just love its feel, even though I miss Gnome’s consistent design and extensions.

In most cases they don’t really bypass anything and they simply have a premium account that they use to either download your file to their server and provide a link for you or forward you stream from tue hoster.

What problems?

It fixed itself for me. I’ve just tried it on another website and it works fine.

Mostly Qwant, occasionally ddg, mojeek and others, including my own instance of SearxNG (google doesn’t respond to it most of the time).

Thanks to enshittification of google, there is not much difference between it and other search engines so being unable to use it via alternative frontends doesn’t make that much of a dofferencd.

I should probably use searxng more often…
