I think Reddit’s onion site still works.

Fortunately Bush the elder is gone
Linux cannot even make the fans work most of the time. You would think it could at least do that. On windows they go all the time!
This was me, is me. I had to start a no grain diet to get my blood sugar down. Between that and exercise, I have avoided, so far, having to take meds for diabetes.
I am diabetic, but my average blood sugar is in the normal range without medication. If I eat wrong or get lazy, I have problems

Anything else is unacceptable
I used it through prime
I think Firefox also supports many if one installs the proprietary codecs .
But I just go to the web address, log in she watch. Maybe I only watched peacock through prime though
I’ve watched max, Hulu, peacock, Amazon , apple and Disney
I install chrome on my Linux and watch them that way

3·21 days agoI don’t have any argument, just my natural suspicion only.
But you likewise are thin on facts, your natural inclination is to see this as more a system issue.
Either we will never know , or one of us will be correct later

Did someone forget to fill it up, or did someone drink it.
Is it institutional incompetence or criminal conspiracy?

Probably data retention safety was overruled earlier by one person.
So, I think the designed erase worked as designed .

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Discord customer service data breach leaks user info and scanned photo IDs
4·22 days agoA lot of people are compelled to hurt others, it doesn’t have to be only about money.
And the ways this happens is not always physically violent. Many are compulsed to scam or betray in subtle ways.
Website owners are no different than any other group of people, and they often skew to compulsive dishonesty.
Why? Because often to get a site up and running with real traffic, dirty and dishonest tricks are used. Unless a site is truly different or outstanding , there is quite a story about how it got popular. Often involving both money and questionable ethics.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Discord customer service data breach leaks user info and scanned photo IDs
12·22 days agoHaving seen the internal workings of a few of these random services, not very safe at all.
It’s not just shoddy work, or a lax security policy. There is real money to be made by bringing unethical, and there is nothing to stop many website owners from just selling the data. It’s not like there are consequences to selling it.
I have a feeling this happens a lot

We have a lack of words used in the English language that specifies graduations and grades of arseholes.
Just like some languages have one word for snow, and others have dozens
Edit: I noticed several people disagreed. But did not explain: is it because they think there are enough words, or they like the word fascist and think it’s appropriate in current usages?
Notepadqq has given me crashes and issues for years, and I once lost data. I use gedit for notes and fancy code editors for everything else

If you use tor, the browser will suggest the site when you get on a Reddit page, at least using old Reddit, if you don’t have the suggestions turned off in settings ( by default they are on)
I have not used Reddit it in two years , but it used to work ok in tor onion URL
