I’ve never seen human shit on the street there. The homeless can’t afford to live there anymore and live in Lancaster these days
I look amazing in glasses, but not so good I’ll put up with not having peripheral vision

There’s magnitude and that’s important but the big thing about what, where, how is that it tells me how to protect myself and others from it. If my metal shim is an alloy containing lead, I need to wash my hands after touching it, use breathing protection and air filtration if I grind it, and cover it in the final version of the product. If it’s made in a facility that also processes lead, I can just wash it and it’ll be fine. If it may contain trace lead from ore deposits I don’t have to care. Meanwhile internal components that don’t offgas just means I’m fine if I don’t open it up

It really needs to specify the carcinogens and what they’re used as. There’s a huge difference between “this product uses a 30% lead solder in internal components” and “adhesives used in this product may offgas formaldehyde”

Are we incapable of completely glassing literally every nuclear armed nation’s population centers? If not then it’s just an expensive and dangerous alternative to diplomacy. If so, it’s just an expensive, dangerous, and unhelpful alternative to therapy.

Former Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal will be happy to hear he’s allowed to drown them again
But fr this is great
Listen I’ve got garuda (the only thing I touch if I can help it), windows 11 (idk why but it hasn’t been able to update in a long time, so it’s basically useless), windows 10 on hdd (actually might be 8), and a 10 year old copy of Ubuntu on an hdd as my boot options because I just copied my college hdds when I upgraded them a few years ago.

I’m very pro secondhand goods but I prefer when they’re sold because the owner is done using them not because the owner had to choose between keeping it and making rent

It looks like there’s a lot of causes, but yeah obesity is a big one for post pubescent pre geriatric gynecomastia. Apparently most boys get temporary gynecomastia mid puberty though.
Like I’m all for trying to deal with the endocrine issues the youth are currently facing. It’s just that I get the strong feeling they’re going to be far more interested in things like banning birth control and estrogen replacement than things like estrogen destructive enzymes in wastewater treatment (which would also stop us from changing frogs’ sexes too much) or reducing dairy consumption. It’s clear Kennedy doesn’t care about science when it goes against his gut instinct.

I feel like you have to try to find a tattooist in Croatia in the mid aughts willing to ink an ss symbol on an American military member. Like I’ve never been there but I know in America it’s a pain in the ass to get a swastika or ss lightning bolt tattoo because most artists won’t do it, and this is America where we skim history in schools

At least I have more dignity and self respect than a large portion of the people running my country
Oh that’ll make for an interesting street name in Lexington

It’s raw partisanism and racism. They believe America is the white Christian right wing nation in the nationalist sense; ie a nation for all people fitting that description and only people fitting that description

Yeah those are immigrants that can kindly go fuck themselves unless they’re willing to trade for Americans who oppose the dipshit in chief

I didn’t expect that, but good on him and glaad

Russia absolutely doesn’t understand that, look at maps over time of the country, their control of Siberia is not as old as you’d think. Vladivostok was ceded to Russia in the mid-late 19th century

The Soviets had no intention to invade the united states (though they did want us to have a communist revolution, but like that’s just part of communism). This is all capitalist Russia

Ok Bering Strait, so only geopolitically, geologically, and financially insane.
Like I kinda see a world where this is a good idea. If ww2 had sparked a long brotherhood between our nations and with europe a high speed rail across the tundras might be a good lower carbon alternative to flying and the Bering Strait is the most land based path between Eurasia and the Americas. Personally I’m not certain a tunnel is better than a bridge for this, but a few days train ride from cascadia to Moscow or Beijing would have plenty of takers if everyone was chill and could take a high speed train ride from Moscow to Madrid (and major cities in between) and from Beijing to Ho Chi Minh City, Seoul, Bangkok, etc. It would leave flying as really only necessary for Australia and island nations like Japan.
That’s however not the world we live in, and Americans aren’t clamoring to go to Russia or trade with them
Listen I’ve never been to California, I don’t really believe all the stories of people shitting in the street there, but I’ve spent years in Columbus and I really don’t believe stories of people shitting in the street there
