I found it funny because the human was trying to battle the Orc and win, and ended up romancing him into peace instead. In the star trek universe this could be Riker and a Klingon female and it’s still funny to me. Didn’t catch the homophobic vibe others got. For me it’s the “ew Orcs are ugly” angle that’s a bit cringe
