Whataboutism is often used as an argument to fight typical Western hypocrisy and moral relativism. They often go about hey county/political party X did something they consider bad, but when you point out the historical context and imperialist ramifications, they claim this is whataboutism.

An example, lack of freedom of expression is bad in China, but when you point out their moral relativism when give examples of people who suffer serious consequences when they manifest themselves in Western empire countries, they start the whataboutism rant.

Yeah, but the actual gain these companies are having is that AI is giving them the perfect excuse to increase labor exploitation. They aren’t producing more with AI, but they are actually getting less people to do more work by simply increasing their workload and working hours, with the excuse that somehow AI will make the work easier.

LATAM Marxists aren’t a classification, what I mean is Marxist orgs that exist in LATAM. Regarding the specific lines, we have MLs, trots, maoists, hoxhaists, postmodern marxists, liberation theologians, and others.

A curiosity about some LATAM currents, the Posadist tendency is originally from a Trot org based on Argentina.

But LATAM has been an intense battlefield of Marxists orgs/tendencies vs reactionary forces and we had guerrillas and civil wars basically everywhere in the 20th century. The PC do B from Brazil took part in the “Guerrilha do Araguaia”, MR8 and other armed resistance movements. Dilma Rousseff, ex president, was also a guerrilla fighter. Gustavo Petro, recent president of Colombia, also participated in the M-19 guerrilla. Argentina had the Montoneros and Uruguay the Tupamaros. However, not all guerrillas were Marxist, and there were many other liberal tendencies in those as well.

Sir, I think you are overreacting. Nobody is running a 7+ Linux Kernel on a 486 machine. Even if you have microcontrollers with a 486 instruction set, I am pretty sure they already fixed the timestamp issue, or they don’t need Linux at all since it’s an embedded application.

What distro did you use? Don’t tell me you used Arch Linux… That’s not beginner friendly at all.

I’d advise you to use Mint or Ubuntu (preferably the first). When I have NVidia drivers I usually used one that is install through “additional drivers” app, because those are the ones which were tested for your distro. But if you have a really new GPU, there might be an issue because devs weren’t able to update the drivers and test them.
