Usually people say ground beef, but some call it hamburger meat, or just hamburger.
Certain grocery chains in Canada employ these types of self checkout scanners. Every item is weighed, your bags need to be on the scale from the start and there’s a camera over each checkout.
…you can do that? Huh.
i’ve been waiting for an update to break Cachy, before reinstalling, but nothing seems to break like my previous Arch based distros. I put BTRFS on everything because snapshots are the best.

I normally do full sized bars considering how many people we get on average. I normally buy them at Costco Business and it looks like they’re still priced the same. Prices at regular Costco are similar to what I remember of last year too.
We probably make most of our chocolate here. In the area around where I work there are at least 4 Mondelez plants. I know Mars has a few plants in or around the GTA as well.

0·1 month agoMost likely they’re not logged in with a paid Plex account. When I head to the web version of the Plex app it’s a shitshow until I login. Then I have all that shit disabled server side.

0·1 month agoNah, I bought it years ago, and have enjoyed the experience for the better part of a decade.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not shitting on jellyfin. But Plex is just the superior experience. I’ve used jellyfin alongside Plex for a couple years and while it’s very useful for sharing content I don’t want my family to see in my Plex libraries. It just doesn’t have the polish that Plex has. There’s definitely potential, and I look forward to where it goes as the project matures. Like all companies, Plex will goto shit eventually, we all know it. The past couple of months have brought annoying changes and I expect them to continue to enshittify the service. But until that time comes I will continue to prefer Plex.

1·1 month agoI know Lemmy is obsessed with Jellyfin, but alot of us have lifetime memberships to Plex, and will switch when hell freezes over.
I installed Mint on my buddies computer yesterday and the install defaulted to ext4, and then had the audacity to have “Enable Backups” in the welcome dialog and only have RSYNC available.
It gave me the option to do my own partitions during setup but every time I clicked the link to do so the installer would hang. My buddy started getting nervous so I just left it on default. But I was very annoyed that I couldn’t easily just switch to BTRFS.
