Honestly I’ve got near 250 eggs on the counter that I don’t know how to get rid of. I could just put them down by the street and see how it goes. Might need to get a new hose though, mine popped and I fixed it, then popped again 20 feet up so I taped it. Cleaning eggs up may be a pain in the ass with that

So your saying a bowl of pomegranate and cooked sweet corn kernels mixed together is what I should put out in a bowl for Halloween, got it. There is some kid out that that would love it, and everyone else would throw eggs at the place lol

Not The Onion@lemmy.world•Health Secretary Kennedy, Trump link circumcision to autism through TylenolEnglish
41·16 days agoSo can I sue my parents for circumcision now? Or rather sue the U.S. government for allowing genital mutilation to children. The rate for adult males in the U.S. is around 80% of the population, and new borns is declining quickly. About 100 million men.
Let’s say we sue for $100,000 a piece, which I would consider a low settlement for a government allowing mutilation of its population. What’s that… $10 trillion dollars or so?
I figure they would claim the department of health isn’t a basis for legitimate information to warrant a legal case.
What’s his number I could use a paid job on a vehicle that no longer runs out front
Is it just me or does calcium seem a bit risky. All alkaline earth metals react violently with water. So it may corode your tongue, and whatever else it comes in contact to it. Oh and if there is a flame around the resulting gas may or may not explode… I’ll have to test it and find out.
Edit: just for further info Incase you don’t remember, alkaline metals are found in column 2. And they get more violent in their reaction to water as you go down the column.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•ProtonVPN or Mullvad? Why would you choose one over another?English
41·21 days agoWhen was that, apparently I missed that. Apparently a few people know about it because at least 3 people downvoted for it haha.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•ProtonVPN or Mullvad? Why would you choose one over another?English
49·21 days agoI’ve been using them for years, it’s been good for all of my uses. Their prices are cheaper than what I see from other companies. I haven’t used their dedicated IP service yet, but if it is as decent as the rest of their services it should be good.

3DPrinting@lemmy.world•Anyone had any luck running Fusion 360 on Linux?English
3·21 days agoYeah it’s annoying still, I have an 80gb partition I put windows on for work purposes, I told it to check for updates yesterday when I was signing off for work. It popped up with an option that said Security updates are ending Oct 14th, and a box to click to enroll for extended updates till Oct 14th, 2026. I clicked it and it said I was enrolled for another year. It’s a sure sign they are trying to force people to move to Windows 11, but apparently they will be making the security updates all the same and not sending them to everyone by default.

5·23 days agoTrue, they could be outside of their jurisdiction or new. If it were a bomb I wouldn’t want to stop it though, call for backup, let’s see a helicopter and a SWAT/Bomb squad show up to stop a Waymo, lol… That new guy would never live it down.

Not The Onion@lemmy.world•Police Pull Over Waymo to Check for Drunk DrivingEnglish
18·23 days agoYeah there is zero chance they pulled over a Waymo expecting there to be a drunk driver in it unless they were just harassing people without even looking at the vehicles .

“Sir, what’s that on top of your car, and are all these extra devices normal?”
If it were a Tesla that doesn’t have any equipment that makes them safe enough for the roads, I could believe it because they look the same as a normal Tesla.

World News@lemmy.world•China ferry fleet built amid Taiwan invasion preparations, classified report warnsEnglish
5·27 days agoHow can the U.S. say China is preparing for an invasion of Taiwan if they openly state they believe in “One-China,” aka Taiwan being a part of China. We need to start calling Taiwan a sovereign nation if they want to sell that as anything other than a transport of equipment to their own property.
Never heard that before, that’s “wack”. Any chance you remember the product?

0·1 month agoYeah maybe you get less cows and more people focusing on a healthier diet when trying to procreate. With any luck it’ll lead into them trying to stick with healthier choices for them and the kids long term, but that’s just wishing. I know I make bad decisions and backslide all the time. Whether it be dietary, alcohol… Answering comments of upset people who you can’t reason with. I do it all

Not The Onion@lemmy.world•‘Who builds a ballpark next to a gun range?’: Coach injured by gunfire that crossed into baseball diamondEnglish
0·1 month agoPeople in a field shoot without reguard to what’s in the direction of the bullets they are firing. Kids flee, a coach is shot and someone thought they should blame the baseball field builders lol. Mate if you fire a gun and there is any reasonable belief that bullet can strike something other than your target, you should be charged with shooting at that object.
To me that means attempting to kill that coach/kids.

Apparently they are still around, my partner had a laptop she wasn’t using anymore but swears isn’t that old, when I repurposed it I noticed it had a Pentium as well. I figure they are what we call “The Walmart Special”
I just pulled up Walmart and found one, I love how they lie in the picture though. Image says “16gb” for ram, and all the details say 8gb ram. But for $190, really not all that bad if you know what you’re going to do with it.
