  • Seems to be.

Used to eat carrots out of my grandma’s farm when I was a wee lad. Have never found ones that taste the same.

But there is now a Korean grocery store nearest to me and is been great to get different varietals and seeing what ingredients are like from other places just because they grow a different one.

I’ve found the greenish part of the stem can go a bit further in some of the carrots which isn’t the most pleasant but it’s only been like one carrot that was like that, the rest were just a big ole tasty carrot. Surprisingly juicy compared to what I’m used to from the grocery stores I’ve gone to most of my life.

  • Perfect being the enemy of good.

Man it’s gotta got to start somewhere. The full value of such a system will not be seen in our life times.

But if “anyone can be an artist” I’ll argue then that is actually the very best place to start this.

Young, old, decrepit, disadvantages, anyone can claim an artist UBI? Fucking great! That sounds like a feature not a bug

Work on your own terms, your own needs, within your own choices. Fucking great.

I’ve lived where the first thing they gets cut from every budget is the Arts.

That certainly hasn’t made the world a better place to live because “work” is always going to be a dog eat dog world where you don’t collaborate you compete. Your usefulness is only determined by how much value can be extracted from you without a care for your well being.

Arts are useless? Can’t make rent with an arts degree? Well guess what now everyone can.

I really don’t understand why you are so pissed about this and seemingly(my interpretation, I could be wrong) uninterested in looking at how this can be good the way it is.

You cannot tell If there is any sugar or sweetener of any kind in that drink, however statistically likely it has it or not.

Secondly if that is a cold brew coffee which is what it looks like to me, you are absolutely incorrect. Cream isn’t milk, and it makes a coffee look exactly like that. Most non dairy creamers also look the same way. Almond milk in my experience is a bit thinner and is more like actual milk than cream or oat milk, but still that cup looks like it is mostly coffee and ice

  • I just watched them make my drink. They used a separate container to mix my iced drink before putting it into the cup. I specifically ask for light ice or most of the cup is full of ice(I do not know how that affects actual volume due to tapering + not filling to brim). I know this because I have a tendency to drink too fast and that’s how I noticed when I have a half a cup of ice left over, And why I ask for light ice now.

I do think it’s a rip off but not everyone drinks the same way and the cold cups are different volumes as well, possibly to offset the use of ice
