What would you recommend for a gaming machine with some pretty old hardware (1080Ti etc), PopOS or Bazzite? I mainline Mint, but I have this hardware coming in and I’d like to get an idea of what I want to do with it before it gets here.

I think accurate results are from a zero to full charge monitoring process. i.e, you need to put the phone through one continuos charging cycle to 100 percent before you can get reliable estimates.

Yeah, the model specific ones are a pain to actually start using. It seems like a general case problem though - every phone on the planet needs a battery so it only makes sense every phone should also come with a battery optimizer deeper than just limiting charging to 80 percent.

If it’s a flagship you can go way farther than five years. My last flagship lasted 7 years or so with very heavy use. I expect my current one to last longer.

Hasn’t been updated in some time has it? Damn, accubattery was goated. Such a shame they didn’t just open source it in the first place, but I can respect the labour they put into it.
