So if I break my arm, and am in incredible pain, I need to first pop by my GP to get a referral, or pay 100€ if I go straight to A&E ?
I feel like needing a referral to got to Accident and Emergencies kinda defeats the whole point of A&E…

Also, if something isn’t working, you can RMA the whole machine. If you build a PC yourself, and it’s not working, it then becomes your job to troubleshoot and figure out exactly which component is causing the issue, so you can then RMA just that.
If you’re this bent on defending this mysoginstic and sexist crap, then you’re a sexist mysoginst not worth talking too. Enjoy being blocked.
Yes. And the fathers are equally capable of saying no. And the men themselves are equally capable of not being cunts.
There’s 3 people involved here, 2 of which are men, and this guy specifically singles out the the one woman, and blames her. That’s sexist and mysoginstic.
“When women are bad, it’s their fault. When men are bad, it’s their mother’s fault” is an objectively sexist and shitty stance to have.
If you wanna blame the parents, blame BOTH. Singling out the mother is mysoginstic.
Those men have fathers too, and yet you specifically blame the mothers. That’s misogyny.
You do realise that reproduction involves more than just the mother, right ?

Imagine being so sexist that you even blame women for a group men of being cunts.

Yes it should change sentencing, because the primary goal of the justice system should be rehabilitation, not punishment, and there are absolutely people who have commited murder and are capable of being fully rehabilitated, and those that can’t, and they should not be sentenced the same.
Or do you seriously think, for example, people who end up murdering their abusers out of revenge or desperation should actually receive the same punishment as someone who murders a random person purely because they hate something about their identity, or an abuser who murder their victim ?

It’s a way to take the severity of the motivation into account when sentencing.
Someone who committed murder could have done so under all sorts of mitigating circumstances, classifying the crime as a hate crime speaks to the horrificly unjustifiable motivation, and is indicative of someone who should be less likely, or ineligible for parole.
Sure, we could just keep calling it murder, and take those things into account anyway, but I think it’s ultimately good to have these distinctions, and there’s plenty of other similar cases where we do distinguish between crimes based on intent, rather than outcome, particularly for crimes against people (you may, for example, apply your exact logic to the distinction between 1st and 2nd degree murder, or even murder and manslaughter. It’s not like a murder 1 victim is any better off for their killers crime being called murder instead of manslaughter)

Women may not not be a mathematical minority, but they absolutely are a cultural/societal minoritiy.
Cultural minorities have nothing to do with the absolute number of members the group has, but how much political and social power and influence the group holds.
That’s why black africans during apartheid Africa would still be considered minorities, even though they made up the mathematical majority of inhabitants.

I think the primary distinction is that a weapon in a criminal context is typically something that is used to threaten/coerce someone, or to enable you to cause (more/more severe) physical harm/incapacitation in a physical altercation.
Date rape drugs aren’t used to threaten/coerce people, and whilst they can cause harm, it is generally not the intended goal when someone uses them. And intent/willingness to use a weapon to physically harm someone, in my opinion, is a relevant distinction to relatively “”“peacefully”“” knocking someone out. Of course committing date rape is still an utterly horrific thing, and people who do it should be charged and held accountable to the fullest extent of justice, but it is still different from threatening someone with a weapon and forcing yourself on them. (Also, whilst I have no actual data on this, it seems logical to me that a conscious victim is far more likely to receive (more serious) injuries as they struggle, vs. an unconscious one)
So whilst I agree that classifying date rape drugs as weapons is a good move, there definitely are relevant distinctions as to why drugs are typically not considered weapons.
Yes you can. And yet I bet you’ve ordered pre made food before, or food delivery.
You’ve probably bought plenty of things you could’ve done yourself for cheaper. You’ve probably hired handymen to do things like install washing machines, or movers to transport your stuff, or painters or roofers or cleaners. All of those things are cheaper to do yourself. Do you portray people paying for those things as idiots in memes as well ?
Convenience has value, and it’s not weird, or inconsistent or stupid for people to be willing to pay a premium on the convenience of someone else doing things, even if you could do them yourself. Especially because a large convenience factor is that if someone else does it, someone else is responsible for fixing it if it goes wrong.
