Futo is Foss and offline. I switched to it recently from Swiftkey. Before that, apps would always restart if I switched windows or tabbed back to home screen and I assumed it was just my phone being lame. But since switching, that happens a lot less. So I can only assume futo is using less resources.

Art takes time, money and creativity to make. Of course that’s going to be more expensive than downloading something someone else made and printing it out. Accounting for the time and costs that go into making art isn’t a high markup, it’s being paid for your labour.

People are desperate for honesty, courage, and compassion in politics again. They’re tired of being told that things can’t be different, that we just have to accept rising bills, crumbling public services, and an overheating planet as the price of modern life. We refuse to accept that. We must provide a real political opposition. Because if politics isn’t about improving people’s lives, then what’s the point of it?

We all know the answer to that. It’s so politicians can make themselves and their rich mates richer.

I used to vote Green mostly because I’m in a Labour safe seat area and Green was the only appealing alternative, but if Polanski can keep this up, I might even consider joining once I’m financially more secure. I don’t see why they should though. A person destroying a bird’s nest will be charged with a crime, but you can get your cat to do it with zero consequences. It’s really not that hard. I gave my ex my Mastodon url and he signed up so he could follow me. He didn’t even know what Mastodon or the Fediverse is.

It only gets complicated when federation gets janky, eg on my Mastodon.social account I can see so many more posts that I can on my main instance. In fact, I sometimes can’t even see some of my own .social posts unless I login via that account on tusky, then open as my main account. Even though the instances are federated. I have the same issue here with this account and my alt feddit.uk account. I can see comments/communities on one instance that I can’t see on another.

Autism, schizoid and Complex PTSD have a lot of overlap. Growing up undiagnosed autistic in an unsupportive environment can lead to CPTSD. Schizoid can also be thought of as a flavour of CPTSD that occurs if you’re predisposed via genetics. I think there’s still so much to learn. None by themself explain me, but all three together do. CPTSD is often co-occurring in late diagnosed autists.
