IPA does not remove oils, it solubilizes them and then they deposit back down again when it evaporates.
You don’t dump alcohol on the plate and then let it evaporate. You put it on a paper towel or microfiber cloth and rub the plate so the oils are transferred to the paper towel.
Dish soap can be problematic because many brands include oils to be soft on hands. Palmolive is named because it has Palm oil in it. Dawn has Palm oil too

The small hardware trackers have a range of 10 meters. They literally cannot work without being a privacy intrusion like Tile/Life touch.
The only option is a tiny phone that you hide on the bike. You can go really small by getting a dog gps tracker. They work using cell service rather than depend on other nearby users running a tracking app that reports their finds back to Apple or Lifetouch so that you can login and see it.

It says 1000 years so I give it 100 based on the fact that the 100 year rated Verbatim AZZO DVD+R’s that I burned and verified to have low PIO errors had errors after 10 years stored in black cases in my temperature controlled basement.

It depends on how old. My Xeons are e-2224G. They’re 14nm coffee lake. They are rated at 71Watts but as I said only use 15w streaming 4k.
They’re $190 on eBay with 16gb ram and 256 GB SSD.

I switched to ECC only for my home server over 10 years ago after a silent ram error corrupted some data on my raid drives. I didn’t realize there was a problem until I went to look at an old photo and it was corrupted.

I got an old Lenovo P330 Xeon with 64 G of ECC ram. I recently checked its power usage for another poster asking the same thing. I was shocked to see it only use 15Watts while streaming 4k hevc.
For server use, ECC is important because it’s going to be on 24/7 for years at a time.
