I swear October is not a thing in Middle-Earth, they have different month names or something. He did say that in the movie though.

I’ve been using https://kitsu.app/ for over 11 years.
That said, it’s a bit janky. There are some minor bugs that will likely never get fixed because it’s on a shoestring budget.
You can always import/export your library as XML though, so you can go back and forth between Kitsu and MAL.
You’re going to need an axe to cut that one
I prefer to believe that the Pokémon are pleading “Please, don’t put me back in there! I’ll fight for you! I’ll do anything!” But their cries fall on deaf ears as all the trainer hears is “Pika pika”.

541·9 days agoYeah, living in the UK I’m not surprised.
Right wing lies are spread non-stop to blame people on benefits, immigrants or the EU for problems caused by poor policy decisions, usually those made in service of people who are already rich.
I’ve personally met people who think that benefit cheats (people who are getting “too much” financial support from tej government) are a huge problem, when they make up only a tiny amount of our costs compared to wage theft, military spending and tax breaks.
Anyone know what the movie mentioned in the article is called? Could be a fun niche watch.

Amen to that 😌
Ah, I use Mullvad and have found their IPs are blocked.
I think a significant coat would have to be either a trenchcoat or one with a huge fur collar.
Oh, is it because some states have the same sort of age verification laws?
Interesting. Where are you based?
Victim blaming much? We didn’t ask for this. In fact, we specifically asked not for this. Same as how most US folk didn’t ask for a dictator to run their country and making fun of them for living in a dystopia is a bit tasteless.
It’s not a big huge deal, sure, but I also think it’s not a big ask for posters to do things differently.
For Lemmy I think you can just upload directly, which is what I do. More generally I’m not sure.
There are a million services like this but I doubt many are FOSS as there are significant coats involved in large-scale image hosting.
See the attached article, but yeah pretty much.
I’m not calling us to not use it as a boycott measure. It’s more of a practical consideration for other users like myself who won’t get to see your posts at all.
There are alternative approaches that don’t cause these problems so I’d like people to use them.
I just upload directly to the instance, at least that’s what I think I’m doing. My app lets me do that (Boost).

I stand corrected. Not sure where I got the impression then. False memories.
