This was one of the reasons I went to kinoite. Part of leaving Windows was to get away from all their slop… The other part was to get away all the forced updates. I don’t wanna be forced to update if I don’t want too
Edit: to illustrate your point look at the stories of people who can’t use virilization anymore because they took out virt-manager and QEMU but did a horrible job of telling people and then stuff updated.
Now they rebase to -dx, layer the packages or go someplace else.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•he might be using me to fulfill his younger woman fantasy, but I’m also using him to fulfill my daddy fantasy, so we’re even
104·7 days agoYou do know in a significant number of languages in this world when gender is unknown the masculine form is used… Some languages, for example Spanish, would even use a masculine form for when the gender is known and a group includes both boys and girls. For example Tengo tres ninos… That sentence could mean I have three boys but it also could mean I have three kids of which some might be female.
So stop trying to be provocative… You’re bad at it

4·10 days agoI have KDE on two of my computers but don’t really understand what you’re talking about. I keep reading though about the awesome paneling KDE has.
Can you explain more what you mean or give a link that explains? Maybe my use case is too basic but I don’t use anything beyond what I ever used in windows and I feel happy. However people talk about this all the time so I really want to learn

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Reddit shadow banned and banned every new account I tried with a VPN.
9·10 days agoSame… Banned my account of nearly 20 years. Still to this day no reason or email why. Then every account I made was banned presumably because I used alias emails on a VPN.
So I find myself here.

LMAO right??? I can’t agree more
