The word dyslexia already contains poor spelling, for it is dys (abnormal/difficult/impaired) + lexis (speech/word).
What did he spell wrong?
He probably spelled it the same way Mrs Marten intended because she was literally talking about poetry.
Poetry + dyslexia = potery (pottery).
Is this 2nd order dyslexia?
