It’s younger, but is being rapidly developed, esp considering it’s written in mostly python instead of Rust. Biggest benefit though, is it doesn’t come with toxic political ideologies attached like Lemmy does (https://lemmy.world/post/29072279) Also why we’re moving to more generic terms like “Threadiverse” instead of “Lemmy-verse”
