    The US just does it anyways. At least as well as the Chinese. Most other countries do too. I’d wager oversight is piss poor everywhere and largely performative.

      It’s DW, Germany is notoriously hypocritical. Try and debate that Israel is an apartheid state or has been genociding Palestinians and see how far that goes.

      Yep, that’s the thing. In the West you have the freedom to say what you want. And the government is free to ignore what you say.
