        The context is that society is complicated and income distribution and housing stability are not uniformly distributed by region or religion, so many of these statistics just mirror painfully obvious things like:

        • People in low income areas are more likely to go to prison (people in high income areas can probably afford a better lawyer & get a better deal)
        • People who aren’t part of the dominant religion are likely to have moved more recently
        • People who have recently moved are more likely to move to lower income areas where housing is more affordable

    Does being catholic give you access to church time in prison? As that might be a nice perk that people would go for.
