Apparently it’s actually better for security. Right now the Chinese embassy operates across numerous buildings all around London. After this embassy is finished, they’ll all be concentrated into the one place. Apparently that makes it easier to keep an eye on them ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯
