    Given paint is most likely to effect the rotor blade balance. At what point in the flight do you think an error is most likely to result.

    In modern planes, it’s most likely when the engines are pushed hardest. Normally on take off to increase angle of attack. Reducing area where take off noise effects.

    Admitadly in most private airports. The area at risk from such is normally minimally occupied.

    Also anyone who can afford to run a jet. Would be pretty negligent not to have the engine fully checked after a attack like this. So odds are low.

      I’m sure in this case they would just take them apart before flying and give them a thorough cleaning. I was talking about just paint in general isn’t likely to kill an engine or crash a plane. They hit birds on take off and survive, a little paint isn’t going to do much.
