Do you have a video showing the exercise? There’s many weighs (lol) to hold a weight over your head, I imagine
Dude, you should get a rice cooker. I’ve never had so little trouble cooking rice before. And as long as it’s not a weird batch of rice, it always comes out near-perfect

192·28 days agoHad a breakdown today because, after being on sick leave for a week, I came back to school and realised I need to prepare three therapies for tomorrow in between classes and barely any time to thoroughly prepare even one of them. But nooooo, working from home for those days where we just have school wouldn’t work because we have a contract that obligates us to be physically present. Plus, we’re just not as productive. Sure. Fuck my 2h of commuting everyday
Fine
Preach. I doubt there’s too much you can do though given human anatomy and the (lack of) space in the pharynx
Yea it used to but it’s been killed by Riot’s new Vanguard anti-cheat system. It’s also kernel level afaik, so it’s officially impossible to play League on Linux now
I recently built a PC and installed Windows 10 on it because I primarily built it to play League of Legends (don’t judge me). Aside from that, I’ve also found a couple ways to get my hands on other games as well. My other daily driver already Kubuntu installed onto it and I’d really like to use some distro on this desktop PC, but it’s just not really practicable since all the games would be running from exe files or have anti-cheat (screw you League). I don’t really see a way around this apart from using virtual Windows for the games within Linux, right?
If you have trouble swallowing tablets and pills, even when you drink something to have it go down easier, it might be worth checking out different consistencies of food to go along with it. Many elderly people take their pills in yoghurts and puddings and stuff like that. Soft foods in general also work. A drink should usually help though.
If it’s tablets and pills that explicitly need to be taken dry, you could try a swallowing technique called a “chin tuck” where you push your chin towards your chest before swallowing and then swallow while your chin is still tucked. That way, you leave less room/area for the tablet/pill to get “stuck on”. It could help but doesn’t necessarily have to help.
In any case, it’s definitely better if you have the tablet/pill find its way into your stomach so it doesn’t just dissolve in your pharynx and have no effect
Depends on when that screenshot was taken. If it’s a current screenshot, it’s actually from 2015 which is… wait, 2015 is 10 years ago?
Honeybees destroy ecosystems because they’re more efficient at pollination than wild bees are, so there’s an ecological nuance to abstaining from honey. Apart from that, there’s the ethical component of taking away food that the bees produce for themselves that’s not ours for the taking.
Used to hate Arizona quite a bit because it felt super bougie and expensive for what’s essentially just a regular ice tea. Developed a taste for it over the years and like it quite a bit nowadays because it’s partly sweetened with stevia which makes it taste very pleasantly. Quite unfortunate that most of the flavours sold here aren’t vegan because they insist on 0,1% of honey in the ingredients

I’ll second this, actually. I used to hate on PC gaming for around a decade or so because it always seemed to prohibitively expensive to me compared to a console. But after building my very first PC with used parts off ebay for around 300-400€ in total, I think, I can confirm that it works really well overall.
Most of the games I’ve played so far perform really well, some even play on highest settings (and that’s with just a 1080 ti), and it’s a PC, so multitasking, office work, homework and whatnot are all possible. Running the OS and games off an SSD makes loading times quite fast compared to the PS5’s SSD, sometimes even faster.
And I haven’t spent a single Euro on games because of a plethora of 🏴☠️ options, which is possible on console depending on the console, but ultimately hinges on jailbreaking your console and voiding a potential warranty.
Overall, I’m very pleased with my PC experience right now. Ever since building the PC, I haven’t played on console, and that’s coming from someone who was playing on console pretty much exclusively since around 2017
